Calling Plans

Spruce Knob Seneca Rocks Telephone, Inc. offers a variety of features and packages to fit the needs of its customers.

Here are the calling plans that SKSR Telephone has to offer:

Thrify Caller

  • If you have a cabin or do not use your phone much for outgoing calls, Thrifty Caller may be the right choice for you.
  • By controlling the number of calls you make and how long you talk, you determine the rate you pay for local service.
  • There is no limit to the amount of incoming calls you can receive.
  • Residental - you pay $6.00 per month, plus charges for each outgoing call.
  • Business - you pay $22.00 per month, plus charges for each outgoing call

Community Caller

  • If you use Spruceknob.net for an ISP this may be the plan for you.
  • If most of your calls are to others in the 567 exchange, Community caller is the most economical service for you.
  • Residential - you pay $15.00 per month for unlimited calling in the 567 exchange.
  • Business - you pay $25.00 per month for unlimited calling in the 567 exchange.

Community Caller Plus

  • With Community Caller Plus, the area of flat rate calling included in your monthly rate is larger that with Community Caller.
  • Flat-Rate calling areas includes:
    • Riverton (567)
    • Franklin (358/321)
    • Harman (227)
    • Brandywine(249)
    • Mill Gap, Va (499)
    • Monterey, Va (468)
    • Blue Grass, Va (474)
  • Residental - you pay $21.00 per month, plus charges for any calls made outside the flat rate calling area.
  • Business - you pay $50.00 per month, plus charges for any calls made outside the flat rate calling area.

Frequent Caller

  • If you have family and friends in one of the following areas, Frequent Caller could be the plan for you.
  • Flat rate calling area includes:
    • Riverton (567)
    • Franklin (358/321)
    • Harman (227)
    • Brandywine (249)
    • Canaan Valley (866)
    • Elkins (636/637)
    • Maysville (749)
    • Petersburg (257)
    • Mill Gap, Va (499)
    • Monterey, Va (468)
    • Blue Grass, Va (474)
  • Business - you pay $60.00 per month for unlimited calling within the flat rate calling area.
  • Residential - you pay $28.00 per month for unlimited calling within the flat rate calling area.

Please note, to avoid unnecessary charges on your phone bill if you are an Internet subscriber, verify that your dial-up number is covered within the calling plan that you select.
